Hi there!

My name is Merlin, I am a DJ and record collector from Cologne, Germany. My passion for music started back in my childhood, with "The Eminem Show", Public Enemy's "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back" and The X-Ecutioners "Built From Scratch". From there my journey led from Hip-Hop to Rock, Jazz, Funk, Disco, Boogie, House and Pop music.

My musical socialisation with records started in DJ Schneider's Early Bird Recordstore and took off from there. After school I did my apprenticeship as a record seller at recordsale.de in Berlin. Where I learned a lot about the record selling industry but also about SQL Databases and warehouse management. After completing my apprenticeship, I came back to cologne and started to DJ in different venues.

After some time I had the idea to produce supplies for my records, just for me. First I thought about a 45 Adapter. Since a friend worked as a cutting machine operator in my hometown, I asked him to produce some prototypes in different metals and forms, which he did. And after saving some money, his company produced a batch of brass pucks for me. The result was so satisfying that I decided to produce another product, and the idea of the brass weights was born.

Now after some years, I finally finished my website to sell and market my products.
